Academic Admissions Advisors Announces Partnership with PrepU to Support Students Beyond College Admission
Providence, Rhode Island — February 11, 2026 — Academic Admissions Advisors
(AAA) Today, announced a new partnership with PrepU, a career-launch program designed to help college students and recent graduates navigate the increasingly complex transition from college into internships and entry-level roles.
For years, Academic Admissions Advisors has guided families through one of the most important decisions in a student’s life: finding the right fit college and successfully navigating the admissions process. While college admission remains a critical milestone, AAA has seen a growing need to support families as students prepare for what comes next.
“The questions families are asking have changed,” said Eric Simonelli,
Founder of Academic Admissions Advisors. “Parents still care deeply about college fit and admissions outcomes — but they’re also thinking ahead to internships, first jobs, and long-term career momentum. This partnership allows us to support families beyond acceptance, without losing focus on what we do best.”
The early-career landscape has undergone rapid shifts in recent years. Entry-level hiring has become more competitive, and application processes are increasingly automated, and students are expected to be career-ready earlier than in previous generations. As a result, the transition from college to career has become a distinct phase that requires intentional preparation.
Through the partnership, AAA families will have access to PrepU’s structured career-launch programming when the timing is right — whether during college or as graduation approaches. PrepU’s approach focuses on helping students translate their education into professional value, build meaningful connections with alumni and employers, and prepare for interviews and professional conversations.
PrepU’s methodology is organized around its PREP framework:
✔️Position — clarifying direction and professional narrative
✔️Reach — proactive outreach to alumni and employers
✔️Engage — relationship-building through real professional conversations
✔️ Prepare — interview readiness and communication coaching
“This partnership reflects how we think about the full student journey,”
Simonelli added. “Our goal is continuity — ensuring that the care, preparation, and intentionality families experience during the admissions process continues into the early stages of a student’s career.”
Participation in PrepU is optional and timing-dependent. AAA counselors will introduce the program to families as a resource when it aligns with a student’s stage and goals, including for students already in college or older siblings preparing for internships or post-graduation roles.
Together, Academic Admissions Advisors and PrepU aim to provide families with confidence and clarity across the full arc of the college-to-career journey.
